Federico Corredor

Federico Corredor is a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University and a Public Finance Fellow at its Fiscal Research Center. His research focuses on public and urban economics, with an emphasis on state and local finance and economic development incentives. He is particularly interested in the behavioral responses of households, firms, and local governments to changes in tax structures. His research agenda also includes cultural and creative industries, entrepreneurship, and informality.

Corredor has received several academic distinctions, including a Fulbright Scholarship, the Jack Blicksilver Scholarship in Economics from AYSPS, and the Barry M. Moriarty Award for Best Graduate Research Paper in Regional Science from the Southern Regional Science Association. He has also been recognized with multiple Honor Scholarships for Academic Performance from Universidad Externado de Colombia.
