Kshitiz Shrestha is a senior research associate at the Public Finance Research Cluster in the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies, Georgia State University. His primary research interests are public economics and labor economics with a focus on local public finance, fiscal and political decentralization, corruption, climate change and labor migration.
At the Andrew Young School, Shrestha contributes to research initiatives that explore the intersection of governance, economics, and social policy. His recent work uses quasi-experimental methods to examine the causal effects of decentralization on corruption and climate outcomes.
